The Technical University of Crete (TUC) was established in 1977 and admitted students for the first time in 1984. The school of Production Engineering & Management (PEM), which is in charge of the work to be undertaken within ROBINSON, is the largest academic unit in Greece for production engineering and management studies. TUC team puts a high priority on research activities focused on energy, environmental & water systems management, process & system engineering, industrial ICT technologies and decision management. The research activities are characterized by the implementation of an interdisciplinary approach, which is achieved by coordinating and participating research projects.
