NORCE is a Norwegian research institute with about 1000 employees and multi nationalities. At different locations in Norway it covers six research areas: Energy, Health, Climate, Environment, Social Sciences, and Technology. NORCE closely cooperates with Norwegian universities.
The Energy Systems of NORCE Energy focusses on energy generation, efficiency improvement, and systems integration across different energy vectors. The group has been involved in managing and implementing projects funded regionally, nationally, and internationally, ranging from theoretical and modelling studies over test rigs, to prototype development, pilot installation and operation. Many projects include interdisciplinary cooperation with e.g. Social Sciences and Environment departments.
